Re-Opening In-Store Consultations

Hello My Elderberries!

These past three months have seen a lot of changes in how we live and do business. If I was telling a story, I’d begin with “Overnight, reality changed. They awoke and realized the old order had shifted .  Everyone was freed to create a new one. For some, it was seen as a challenge. To others, it represented a burden and a loss.”   How will the story be written?

New times require new ways of doing things. We closed the store to the public and transferred our classes to a Zoom format. We’re continuing to upload our products onto our on-line store.

Things are starting to settle down, for now. We’re reopening the store to in-person consultations beginning May 26. Because there are three of us seeing clients, we’re staggering the times and days that we’re scheduling folks so there’s not more than four people in the store at a time.

How will this new system work?

1.       We rearranged the retail area so we can see clients there and maintain the 6 foot distancing.

2.       Make an appointment by either clicking on https://www.elderberryherbals.com/health-consultations or by calling the store at 434-964-9376 to request your herbalist.

3.       Please bring and wear a mask.

4.       When you arrive for your appointment, stay in your car. Call us to let us know you’re here. We’ll open the door for you.

5.       A brief screening will be done involving a short questionnaire and taking your temperature.

6.       Gloves aren’t required to be worn by you. However, if you wish, please bring your own (there’s a shortage on disposable non-latex gloves).

7.       Between clients we wipe down the intake area. (We have plenty of in-store hand sanitizer and wipes because… that’s us!)

8.       To limit people in the store, we’re focusing on morning and evening appointments. The store is closed Wednesdays so late morning and afternoon appointments are open and can be scheduled.

9.       There’s always the option of  Skype, Zoom or Face Time sessions, if you prefer.

We so look forward to seeing each of you and catching up on what's been happening in your life. It's felt so… removed and quiet! This new format protects both our clients and staff while we continue to offer what we do best: individualized and custom herbal formulations.
