MMS: Fresh Plant Tinctures
This class will build on our dried plant extract workshop. We’ll go over best harvesting practices so that you can safely and mindfully harvest fresh herbs to tincture. You’ll learn:
which plants need to be tinctured fresh, rather than dried
how to determine the percentage of alcohol to use for different types of fresh plants and how to determine what the ABV of your final product is
preservation considerations to present mold growth on your tinctures
Purchase includes access to the class recording (captions available) from our 2024 Medicine Makers Series along with a detailed handout (accessed via Google Drive). If you’d like supplies to make your own tincture at home, you can add on the corresponding class supplies kit.
